Top 8 photos, Cover-Flow style, w/ link to "All Photos" Show more......Show less
Coverflow is good, and adds some content to the otherwise empty profile pages. As users upload more and more photos (I have facebook contacts with over 300 photos) its going to be less and less realistic to display them coverflow style.
Introduce a Top 8 photos option (like Top Friends on myspace), and have link (All Photos) to a thumbnailed page that displays all of their photos. The most important part of this would be letting the users choose which photos of theirs are displayed cover-flow style, letting the user customize their page even further.
Another aspect of this would be a search function. Change the way photos are browsed: allow sorting by user or search for specific users photos. You could use this function to display the users photos when All Photos is clicked on.

Prev/Next buttons on photo page Show more......Show less
This has probably been proposed before, but I'd like to have navigation buttons on each photo's page so that I can click through photos without having to return to the photo page each time.

L4F Tracks Show more......Show less
I was just wondering if users could upload music that they did not create but did purchase? Is the tracks part of L4F more for artists or for sharing music (like a last.fm/muxtape approach)? Anyhow, I love the site and really hope it continues to grow! Thanks for taking my question!

I can't email message certain friends Show more......Show less
I can't email message certain friends. Some of my friends I can send messages to, but certain ones in my list direct me to a "We're sorry, but something went wrong." error. Just a heads up.

Starring Show more......Show less
I was wondering if there was a way I could "UnStar" my own photos. Or have it not be automatic. I hardly think it makes much sense if someone uploads an ungodly amount of photos like 500 or something and has 500 stars. Perhaps maybe the stars can just be for other's to do on yours. Just a thought.

message error Show more......Show less
When I receive emails about messages from l4f, i'll click on the link to reply to a message and get an error page. I sent the screen shot to Andrew. I receive the error when I'm not logged into l4f. When I logged in and retried the link, it worked. This happened on a mac in firefox.

Site needs content -- pull from existing sources Show more......Show less
Add feed integration -- Twitter/Tumblr/Blog shout-box style. I know a lot of the blogging and twitter style sites use RSS or other feeds you should be able to pull content from.
The site right now is greatly lacking in the "social" part (no real emphasis on meeting people or communicating). Users are already able to post pictures and music but they would have an even stronger "presence" if their tweets and blog updates were posted on their profiles here in real time as well.
Also allow users to choose what is displayed on their profile. If a user does not want the "About Me" section displayed, and would rather populate their profile with a blog feed then they can enter their profile preferences, and completely remove "About Me" from their profile display.
This would allow you to keep the entire site looking uniform, while allowing the user complete control over the content that gets displayed. It seems like it would be better in the end to disallow users from changing the entire style of their profile (like w/ Tom's MySpace editor), but letting them control the content would be a big plus.

spinfaktor: maybe choose a stronger font
spinfaktor: and the pulldown needs to be bolder fonts
spinfaktor: and maybe not neon
spinfaktor: thats my input
spinfaktor: basically work on the CSS

spinfaktor: and youre good

spinfaktor: its pretty obvious youre biting their style when you even use "Explore"
spinfaktor: lol
bmxpos3r: :)
spinfaktor: but for the sub navs, i like the green and i like the orange
spinfaktor: the only reason the green works is because its a dull green
bmxpos3r: so a dull blue
spinfaktor: try bolder first
bmxpos3r: ok
spinfaktor: i think thats the problem
bmxpos3r: too teenie
9:43 AM
spinfaktor: yeah
spinfaktor: will there eventually be content on this site?
spinfaktor: its so lonely feeling
me: i know :(
spinfaktor: i think you should work on the back ground
spinfaktor: its cool as long as the page doesnt have to scroll
spinfaktor: but since the page does scroll
spinfaktor: its just a grey background
spinfaktor: like on the front page
me: oh the people
spinfaktor: yeah that should also be way less padded
spinfaktor: dont have it all on one line
9:46 AM
spinfaktor: so instead of

spinfaktor: and you can make the thumb just a tiny bit larger to compensate
bmxpos3r: yea, and we were gonna stick like 4 thumbs of some photos of theirs?
spinfaktor: then but all that in a table and have some other content next to it (kind of like how it originally was, with pics at the bottom)
spinfaktor: and by padded i mean there shouldnt be 500 bazillion pixels between each line
spinfaktor: nah 4 thubms is lame, i like the default picture idea
spinfaktor: okay so the background
spinfaktor: its just grey
spinfaktor: and then when i scroll to the bottom i see the people
9:53 AM
spinfaktor: so drab
spinfaktor: i mean the bottom part is cool
spinfaktor: but your page is making me scroll
spinfaktor: also i think rounded corners are a little over used
spinfaktor: thats just me
9:54 AM
spinfaktor: yes, find a better color, but also find a low res background to use just as texture
spinfaktor: i think you need side markers for the top banner too
spinfaktor: since the page seems to center aligned
spinfaktor: like cutoffs
spinfaktor: to be honest, i like that the top area goes all the way to both sides, but it seems like every web site im visiting either has the whole page framed and centered or they will just span the content across the entire page
9:58 AM
spinfaktor: (notice digg, getsatisfaction.com, msn.com for the framed, and see reddit and google for the full span page)
spinfaktor: twitter gets away with it
spinfaktor: but they have a fancy background that fills the edges
spinfaktor: it says VIMEO in black, over a grey background, no cuttoffs on that side
spinfaktor: then with all the nav buttons AND the search bar in their own cell
spinfaktor: and it clearly cuts off on the right side
spinfaktor: it doesnt just keep going no matter how big you make your window
